Job Description The VIP Catering Executive Chef is a managementposition overseeing chef managers as well as hourly culinary staff,responsible for developing and executing culinary solutions to meetcustomer needs and tastes. Offers a wide variety of culinarysolutions to meet customer and client needs and tastes. Overseesand manages culinary operations to meet production, presentation,and service standards. Applies culinary techniques to foodpreparation and manages the final presentation and service of food.

Job Responsibilities Ensures culinary production appropriatelyconnects to the Executional Framework Ensures proper culinarystandards and techniques are in place for preparation of fooditems, including production, presentation, and service standardsManages a culinary team, including chef managers and hourly staff,to ensure quality in final presentation of food Train and manageculinary and kitchen employees to use best practice food productiontechniques Coach employees by creating a shared understanding aboutwhat needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved Plan andexecute team meetings and daily huddles Complete and maintain allstaff records including training records, shift opening/closingchecklists and performance data Develop and maintain effectiveclient and guest rapport for mutually beneficial businessrelationships Aggregate and communicate regional culinary andingredient trends Responsible for delivering food and labor targetsConsistent focus on margin improvement; understanding performancemetrics, data, order, and inventory trends Ensure efficientexecution and delivery of all culinary products in line with thedaily menu Maintain integrity of the standard Aramark food offer;responsible for always maintaining food quality and safety of itemsFull compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals: managingwaste, standard menus, recipes and ingredients through managingcustomer driven menus and labor standards Understand end to endsupply chain and procurement process and systems, ensuring onlyauthorized suppliers are used Comply with all applicable policies,rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relatingto safety, health, wage and hour At Aramark, developing new skillsand doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impactfor our employees and for our customers. In order to meet ourcommitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assignedwithout formal notice Qualifications Requires at least 4 years ofculinary experience At least 2 years in a management role preferredMinimum of 3 years in a similar role Requires a culinary degree orequivalent experience Ability to multi-task Ability to simplify theagenda for the team Requires advanced knowledge of the principlesand practices within the food profession. This includesexperiential knowledge required for management of people and/orproblems.
