Chef Baffone 188 Sausalito Boulevard, Casselberry, FL 32707 Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in kitchen management and a flair for creating delicious and innovative dishes. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties Plan and create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory control and food preparation. Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality food service. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with bartending staff to create complementary drink pairings for menu items. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Engage with customers to receive feedback on dishes and enhance their dining experience. Assist in the development of new recipes and presentation styles. Experience Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service management sector. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food management practices, and kitchen operations. Experience with inventory control systems and managing kitchen supplies effectively. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience. A background in culinary arts or related field is preferred but not mandatory; passion for cooking is essential.
