Duties Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods according to established recipes and techniques. Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in menu planning and development of new dessert items to enhance offerings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of pastries for catering events or service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food production processes. Skills Strong culinary skills with a focus on pastry preparation and baking techniques. Experience in catering environments is a plus, enhancing versatility in food production. Proficient in food handling practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
