The ideal candidate will possess strong food management skills and a deep understanding of food production, and inventory control. As the Chef, you will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities Ensure efficient food production and service. Develop creative and seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients and culinary trends. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Oversee banquet operations, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of meals for events. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote professional growth and teamwork. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Requirements Catering experience. Strong knowledge of food management practices, including inventory management and control. Excellent culinary skills with a focus on food production techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising kitchen staff.
