The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a flair for creating exceptional dishes. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and service. Responsibilities Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food handling and preparation. Coordinate banquet services, including menu selection, food production, and presentation for large events. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels. Ensure all food production meets quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion control. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Implement proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety in the kitchen environment. Skills Proven experience in menu planning and development within a professional kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen management techniques. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing food production processes effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across all departments. Familiarity with banquet service operations is a plus but not required.
