Minimum Qualifications Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Position Summary The Head Performance Chef for Football Nutrition will assist theDirector of Performance Nutrition for Football and Director ofCulinary Operations in executing the nutrition program. Theemployee will need to be aware of the fueling needs of footballathletes and have the ability to customize meals based on bodycomposition goals, food allergies, and athletes’ preferences. Theywill maintain inventory levels at fueling stations, help theassistant director manage the shipping, receiving, and tracking offood products. The employee will assist in menu development &execution for on-site meals as well as team travel. Additionally,be knowledgeable in culinary terms, knife skills, and basic cookingtechniques to lead cooking demonstrations for football athletes.
The employee will also assist in managing catering events forfootball, assist staff members with daily team tasks and overseemorning and evening grab-n-go menus, distribution and qualitycontrol. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Knowledge of NCAA rules, regulations, policies, andservices. Knowledge of nutritional principles as they relate to sport andathletic performance.
