Role:

As our Assistant Chef, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our children receive nutritious and appealing meals each day. You’ll assist with food preparation, organization, and compliance, supporting the lead chef in a fast-paced, caring environment.

Responsibilities:

Unload food and supply orders promptly and accurately Assist in preparing and delivering breakfast, lunch, and snacks to classrooms Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen space Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines as required by state regulations Ensure food storage and labeling are up to code Support with daily kitchen cleanup, including dishes and surface sanitizing Collaborate with kitchen and administrative staff for efficient food service operations

Requirements:

Punctual, reliable, and energetic Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (this position does require heavy lifting and the ability to bend and lift) Positive attitude and team-oriented Prior food service experience preferred Knowledge of or willingness to learn state food safety regulations Why Work With Us?
