Chef Madison Restaurant and Bar 4790 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Berkeley Lake, GA 30071 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and service management, with a flair for creating exquisite dishes in a fine dining environment. This role requires creativity, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to food safety and quality. The Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage inventory, and ensure that all meals meet our high standards of excellence. Duties Plan and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on food preparation techniques. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Oversee catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of meals. Assist in bartending duties as required during special events or busy service periods. Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in quality and presentation. Implement shift management practices to optimize kitchen workflow during peak hours. Qualifications Proven experience in food production within a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Experience in food service management, including staff supervision and training. Familiarity with inventory management practices to maintain stock levels efficiently. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various tastes. Experience in catering services is a plus, along with the ability to manage large-scale events. Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to foster teamwork in the kitchen.
