Chef (AM Chef) Bistro to Go 960 Lee Street, Jefferson, GA 30549 Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with experience in the food industry, particularly within a restaurant or kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and menu planning, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and exceptional customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
