Catering Chef Position Available In Barnstable, Massachusetts

Ingredients, Inc. dba Angel Foods located in Provincetown, MA seeks 1full time (temporary) Catering Chef. Principal working directly underowner in operation of catering business. Direct and participate in thepreparation, seasoning, and cooking of salads, soups, fish, meats,vegetables, desserts, and other foods for catering menu including howfood should be presented. Collaborate with owner to plan and pricecatering menu items for catering menu to offer clients. Order supplies,and keep records and accounts. Determine production schedules and staffrequirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services at cateringjobs/events. Supervise or coordinate activities of cooks or workersengaged in food preparation. Organize/coordinate logistics needs betweenkitchen facility and job/event site. Participate in post even/jobmeeting with client to determine client satisfaction and develop ways toimprove systems and products. Rotating work days, shifts and days off.35 hours per week. Work to occur between 6:00am to 11:00pm. Includesweekends, nights, and holidays. Daily transportation to and from primaryworksite (467 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA) is not provided.

Transportation to event/job sites located within a 30 mile radius ofprimary worksite in the Outer Cape towns of Provincetown, Truro,Wellfleet, Eastham, and Orleans, Massachusetts will be provided incompany vehicles. On-the-job training is provided.

Wage:

$35.61 to$35.62 per hour, paid weekly. Overtime may be available at $53.42 to$53.42 per hour. Employee may be eligible for additional compensationin the form of a discretionary end of employment term bonus, dependingon employer profitability, employee performance, and whether employeecompleted the employment period.

Schedule:

35 hours per week. Workschedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sundaybetween the hours of 6:00AM and 11:00PM.

Example shift:

9:00AM to5:00PM. Shift duration may vary. A single workweek will be used tocompute wages due. Housing is not offered. All deductions from paycheckrequired by law will be made. The employer guarantees to oer work forhours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-weekperiod of the total employment period. The employer will provide workersat no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform thejob. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa,visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, includingthose mandated by government (excluding passport fees). If the workercompletes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directlyfor and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from theplace of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the workcontract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provideor pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed towork, except where the worker will not return due to subsequentemployment with another employer. The employer will pay directly forand/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation andsubsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportationpayment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical andreasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistencewill be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximumof $59.00 per day with receipts.
