As a Sushi Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests by preparing fresh and delicious sushi while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, ensuring high quality and presentation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques related to sushi preparation. Assist in training new kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food safety practices. Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food industry. Strong knowledge of meal preparation, food handling, and culinary techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for culinary arts, particularly in Japanese cuisine.
