Ensure that kitchen equipment is properly used, maintained, and cleaned regularly, including woks, steamers, and other specialized tools. Estimate food consumption for requisition of supplies. Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring that food preparation is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Modify recipes and portions to accommodate special dietary needs or requests while preserving the authenticity of the dishes. Work closely with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and special event offerings, aligning with the restaurant’s theme and customer preferences.
