Duties:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement menus that meet customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the bakery manager to plan and execute speciality orders
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Must be able to measure and weigh all ingredients, combine ingredients in mixers or blenders, knead, roll, cut, and shape dough as well as prepare and fill pans, molds, or baking sheets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a baking or food service role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Baking and kitchen management experience is required
