Chef Old North Eats 20700 North Main Street, Cornelius, NC 28031 Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and food service, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires creativity, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to diverse dietary needs. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Lead and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, presentation, and sanitation practices. Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service during catering events and restaurant operations. Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet guest expectations. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health department standards. Engage with guests to receive feedback and enhance their dining experience. Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen management or restaurant management, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Knowledge of catering practices and experience working in a dietary department is preferred. Excellent food handling skills with a focus on safety and sanitation.
