The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Commis, you will assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes, ensuring that our standards of food safety and presentation are met. This role is perfect for individuals looking to advance their culinary skills in a fine dining or catering setting. Responsibilities washing, peeling, chopping, and preparing a variety of ingredients such as vegetables and meats for cooking. Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards is paramount, encompassing proper ingredient storage and consistent cleaning of prep areas. Collaboration within the kitchen team is essential to ensure timely and accurate ingredient preparation for service. Maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and all prep areas throughout each shift is also a critical responsibility.
