Pizza Chef Clarys inc 4200 South Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28209 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a love for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, particularly in making delicious pizzas. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Assist in training new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Skills Strong math skills for measuring ingredients accurately (Basic math, Retail math). Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the highest quality standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred.
