We provide a safe and engaging environment for children from 6 weeks through afterschool, focusing on their developmental needs and educational growth. Summary We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at Primrose of Cornelius. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our preschool children, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while creating a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Plan and prepare balanced meals that meet nutritional guidelines for young children. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure availability of ingredients. Collaborate with staff to create menus that cater to children’s allergies and dietary needs. Monitor food production processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with staff in a fast-paced environment. Creative mindset with a passion for preparing healthy meals for children.
