Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and develop menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety guidelines. Assist in the training of kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food handling best practices. Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including tools, equipment, and workstations. Experience Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role Strong knife skills and proficiency in various sushi preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience with menu planning that caters to diverse dietary needs is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
