Competitive salary along with a generous benefit plan. We require a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a leadership Banquet Chef or Banquet Sous Chef role. We prefer candidates who have completed a certified culinary program and a “Can Do Attitude” is a must. Your duties will include executing the banquet operations to the highest professional standards, reporting to the Executive Chef, and Executive Sous Chef and in their absence managing the culinary operations. These duties will include but not limited to:
- Menu planning and development in conjunction with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Catering Director.
- Make recommendations on hiring, training and discharging of Culinary Staff.
- Maintenance, safety and sanitation of the kitchens and other work areas related to the operation of the culinary department.
- All procurement, preparation and presentation of food served within the Banquet/Catering department.
- Working with members and their committees in planning events at the club both for the enjoyment of the entire membership and for private events at the club.
- Ensuring that the Club conforms to all state and local regulations governing the operation of a food service establishment.
- Working with other department heads and employees on assigned projects, initiatives and assist in running the day-to-day operations at the Club.
- Ensuring that the Club meets or exceeds all budgetary requirements.
- Other Duties as Assigned You will report to Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef.
