The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared to perfection and served promptly. Your ability to work collaboratively with the team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization will contribute to our restaurant’s success. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Assist with menu planning, including special dietary requests and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Support shift management by training new team members and helping coordinate kitchen activities during busy periods. Participate in banquet preparations as needed, ensuring timely delivery of large orders for events. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the cooking process. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. Knowledge of food management practices, including inventory control and quality assurance. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in menu planning and understanding of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including shift management responsibilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
