Culinary Arts Manager Revival Surf City 2111 N New River Dr, Holly Ridge, NC 28445 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to help build our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dining and kitchen management, demonstrating creativity and expertise in food production. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety while managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. Duties Design and implement innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Manage kitchen staff by recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance to foster a collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels and control food costs through effective inventory management practices. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients for menu items. Maintain high standards of culinary excellence while adhering to budgetary constraints. Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food service management, and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Proficiency in inventory control and cost management practices within a kitchen setting. Exceptional creativity with a passion for developing new dishes and enhancing existing recipes. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; additional certifications in food safety are a plus.
