Line Chef Fishmonger’s Honest Seafood Holly Ridge, NC 28445 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the standards of our kitchen. Your expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff during meal preparation and service to ensure efficiency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in food service management is a plus. Familiarity with banquet service is beneficial for catering events. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
