The ideal candidate will have a strong background in running a kitchen, strong communication in both English and Spanish ( written and spoken English). As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in kitchen management, overseeing food preparation, ordering, schedule management and most important must be able to lead the team, to direct where needed and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the line. This is a high volume restaurant must work well under pressure! Duties Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of dishes that meet our fine dining standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations and adherence to recipes. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Monitor food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume food service environment. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques and presentation. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing kitchen operations effectively. Knowledge of inventory management practices and food handling regulations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
