You will supervise kitchen staff, oversee inventory and supply orders, and maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency standards. Your culinary expertise and leadership will contribute significantly to the success and reputation of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of pizzas ensuring consistency and quality. Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including pizza dough preparation, sauce creation, ingredient management, and cooking processes. Maintain and improve recipes and develop innovative pizza offerings. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring team performance and quality control. Monitor food inventory, place orders for ingredients, and manage kitchen budgets. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and cleanliness of kitchen equipment. Coordinate closely with management to align kitchen operations with overall restaurant objectives. Regularly review and adjust processes to enhance kitchen efficiency and food quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in pizza preparation, ideally in a lead or head chef role. Strong culinary expertise in Italian cuisine, particularly in pizza dough preparation, sauces, and toppings. Ability to manage kitchen operations and teams effectively. Familiarity with food inventory management and budgeting. Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and leadership skills. Food Safety Certification preferred.
