This role involves a variety of key responsibilities, including boiling and baking bagels, frying donuts to perfection, and preparing sandwiches on a flat top grill. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Boiling and baking bagels to meet our quality standards. Frying donuts with precision to ensure consistent quality and taste. Preparing sandwiches and other menu items using a flat top grill. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation at all times. Assisting with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as inventory management, prepping ingredients, and ensuring food safety guidelines are followed.

Requirements:

A strong commitment to reliability and punctuality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

Experience in bagel baking and donut frying, grill. Prior experience in a bakery, food preparation, or kitchen setting is required. ServSafe Certification a Plus. Knowledge of food safety and proper handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines. Must be dependable, have reliable transportation to Maplewood, and be an early riser to make the 4am-10am shift. Wednesday thru Sunday. More hours may be an option. $20-$25 hour. Please send resume.
