Chef de Partie /. Line Cook Savoy Taproom, Inc. & The Copper Crow Albany, NY 12210 Savoy Taproom, Inc. operates approachable, upscale restaurants in Albany and is looking to hire a two chefs de partie (line cook) to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals at Savoy Taproom and The Copper Crow. Job Duties Set up and stoc stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen Demonstrated understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment & procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours) Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

$18.00 – $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
