The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in restaurant management and menu planning. As Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, and leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires creativity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. Pay commensurate with experience & partial benefits available along with vacation pay Responsibilities Develop and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment. Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain high standards of excellence. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and menu planning. Experience in restaurant management is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff. Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and creativity in dish presentation. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
