Sushi Chef Sushi Chef Requirements:
- 3 years minimum of New York restaurant experience/Sushi Chef experience
- Have a strong skill for butchering multiple different fish and shellfish, preparing sushi rice, strong essential ingredients related to sushi service.
- Maintaining product quality & Developing new sushi items in trend.
- Must have knowledge of Japanese cooking technique (knife skills) and traditional ingredients
- Able to maintain great attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- Maintaining all sushi bar station work areas, to remain clean and organized at all times
- This individual must be consistent under pressure
- Communicating with wait staff to ensure special requests and food allergy considerations are met.
- Educating Staff on Japanese ingredients ,products & cuisine
- Must have open availability & be available to work weekends and holidays OK for recruiters to contact this job poster.
