This role involves direct participation in daily preparation, sushi bar execution, and contributing to the overall guest experience through detail and discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute nigiri, sashimi, makis and some omakase service to the highest standard Expertly handle and cut fish, following aging and curing methods when appropriate Maintain excellent hygiene and organization throughout the shift Work efficiently and respectfully with the team in a fast-paced, focused environment Uphold food safety and DOH compliance at all times
Requirements:
2+ years of professional sushi experience (omakase or high-end preferred) Strong knife skills and deep knowledge of traditional Japanese preparation Passion for quality, consistency, and craftsmanship Positive attitude, punctuality, and a team-first mindset Willingness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen
