Required Years of Experience 3 years Job Details We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts , creative skills suited to working in an American Bistro. As head chef you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating a variety of products while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in food handling. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies and sandwiches.
Create & Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Measure and mix ingredients according to established guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grill safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to comply with health regulations.
Ensuring proper plating and presentation.
Collaborate with staff to manage inventory levels of food supplies.
Assist in menu development by contributing new ideas /menu items
Ensure all food handling practices are followed to maintain safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation methods.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and mixers.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes precisely.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.
Knowledge of catering operations is a plus but not required.
