•No Walk-Ins Allowed. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Sous Chef/Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly adhered to. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional food service. Keep up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings. Skills Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and cooking appliances. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences.
