As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu planning, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will also be expected to work large-scale events such as weddings, golf tournaments, and banquets , so experience working with large crowds and high-volume service is essential. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Plan and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage inventory control and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize costs. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations. Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring timely delivery of meals. Work key events such as weddings and golf tournaments, managing high-volume service efficiently. Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience. Skills Strong background in the food industry with experience in fine dining establishments. Proficiency in restaurant management principles, including staff supervision and training. Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning and execution. Experience with bartending is a plus for establishments that serve beverages. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on inventory management and control. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and guests.
