The Good King Tavern has serviced the Bella Vista neighborhood since 2013 offering a fun, innovative, french inspired menu with a best in class beverage program. In 2019, father-daughter duo Bernard & Chloe Grigri expanded vertically to open their James Beard nominated upstairs wine bar, le Caveau. Today, the group is run by family and long-time employees, under the culinary direction of Chef Michael Valent. The kitchen supports not only building operations, but also Superfolie at 16th & Spruce, as well as a new project opening in South Philly early 2025. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
A strong passion for food, with an interest in adjacent beverage initiatives and overall hospitality.
An interest in French cuisine and culture. Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
Some experience with or interest in ordering & inventory management on a large scale.
A stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression.
