Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional chef to assist in with a la carte service, weekly dinner features, and wine dinners.
The ideal candidate will:
Work all stations on the line, including grill, saute, middle, and expediter. Exhibit creativity and skill in menu writing for weekly dinner features Guide, train, support, and coach kitchen staff with a positive and professional approach. Address members to accommodate requests or resolve dining issues when necessary. Maintain high sanitary standards in all aspects of food preparation. Additional Responsibilities Prepare food in accordance with club recipes and standards. Serve items according to established portions and presentation standards. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas and equipment. Set up, maintain, and break down cook stations. Requisition necessary items to produce menu offerings. Adhere to state and local health and safety regulations. Cover, date, and neatly store all reusable leftover products. Perform culinary administrative requirements, including ordering, processing bills, inventories, and payroll. Assist with daily kitchen operations and additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
