Duties Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of dishes. Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service during peak hours. Manage inventory by tracking supplies, placing orders, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Participate in banquet preparations, including coordinating with event staff for special menus or dietary requirements. Contribute to the training of new kitchen staff, sharing knowledge on food production techniques and restaurant management practices. Requirements Proven experience in food service or as a cook in a restaurant environment. Strong skills in menu planning, food production, and inventory management. Leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff preferred. Knowledge of food service management practices and food safety regulations.
