Chef de Cuisine Kiawah Island Golf Resort 1 Turtle Point Lane, Johns Island, SC 29455 Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our world renowned culinary team at Kiawah Island Golf Resort . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in kitchen management and food service management. As a Chef de Cuisine at Tomasso , you will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative Italian inspired dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage kitchen staff effectively and maintain a positive working environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to maintain quality and safety standards. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of guests. Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
