Ideal candidates will have the experience and confidence to step into a leadership role within our kitchen. This role will need to execute the current menu, develop new menu items, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Creativity, consistency, and leadership are paramount. You will be working closely with Chef / Owner who will continually provide guidance, resources, and expectations for the role. Experience of several years in a similar environment is required. We are a bustling neighborhood trattoria located in northern Mount Pleasant. Our menu focuses on highlighting food and beverage of the Mediterranean coast. The main focus is fresh and extruded pastas, wood fired pizzas, salads, and some apps and entrees using local ingredients to showcase the area. Knowledge and interest of the following should include but not be limited to – Butchery Preservation Menu Development Inventory maintenance Labor cost management Highlighting regional ingredients with inspiration from the Mediterranean Adhering to and requiring others to strict sanitation guidelines Open communication with other members of the leadership team with the FOH, BOH, and ownership.
