Role:
As a Line Cook, you’ll assist the Chef in preparing and fabricating food products for various settings, including the kitchen, banquet cooking, and fine dining. You’ll play a key role in maintaining production levels and ensuring quality.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment Strong desire to learn and develop culinary skills Ability to collaborate with the culinary leadership team to create seasonal menus
Your Responsibilities:
Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods Enhance your skills in using knives and kitchen equipment Recreate menu items for the restaurant and banquets Ensure consistency in cooking and presentation Minimize food waste through cross-utilization Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting) Follow standard kitchen sanitization practices Properly store food and other items Maintain the quality of ingredients
Qualifications:
Active Food Handler’s certification or ability to obtain one Willingness to work various shifts, including day/night and weekends Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently Physical stamina to be on your feet for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds Desire to exceed expectations Energetic personality If you have a passion for cooking and want to develop your skills and grow your career, we want you on our team!
