We are currently seeking a hospitality minded Sous Chef. We offer flexible work schedules for AM and PM shifts. Generally no hours past 8pm. We are a full service, cook to order, restaurant. Staff receive complimentary meals and uniformsCandidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding care and service to our residents.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Assists in the planning, scheduling and supervising of kitchen personnel.2. Assists in the development of all menus and assures implementation and production of these menus, consistent w/ Kitchen Managers expectations.3. Assures staff education is provided to kitchen employees in accordance with the staff education program provides on-the-job training for food preparation and kitchen employees.4. Develops work assignments for all kitchen personnel, assigning special jobs and spot checking work to insure standards are met.5. Assists in all ordering, receiving and proper storage of all food and supplies. 6. Supervises production, sanitation and food service to apartment residents and Health Center residents. 7. Handles inventory controls and maintaining minimum/maximum par levels.9. Monitors all line checks, temperature logs and systems pertaining to the kitchen operation.10. Leads in the development and implementation of standardized recipes and menu specifications.11. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. 12.
