The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for traditional pizza-making techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality, authentic brick oven pizzas. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare sauces and stretch pizza dough to create the perfect base for our signature pizzas. Select and combine fresh ingredients, including sauces, cheeses, and toppings, ensuring each pizza meets our high standards. Operate and maintain the brick oven, monitoring cooking times and temperatures for optimal results. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, adhering to food safety standards. Experiment with new recipes and toppings to enhance our menu offerings while staying true to traditional methods. Engage with customers when necessary, sharing knowledge about our pizza-making process and menu items. Experience Previous experience as a Pizzaiola or in a similar role is preferred and required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with brick oven cooking techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
