The Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, located at3030 Holiday Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 is currently hiring aConcierge-Spa.
Responsibilities include:
Schedule services for individuals andlarge groups using spa/salon reservations software system. Callguests to confirm scheduled services. Answer questions aboutavailable services. Update the reservations/cancellations listthroughout the day, inform providers of last minute changes, andresolve scheduling issues as needed by working withsupervisor/manager. Check in guests for appointments, confirm firstand last name, and provide general spa orientation to guests uponarrival. Promote and sell spa/salon services. Obtain assigned bankand ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtain change requiredfor expected business level, and keep bank secure at all times.
Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain paymentauthorization as needed. Accept and log cash tips for employees.
Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting. NotifyEngineering of maintenance and repair needs. Report accidents,injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform andpersonal appearance are clean and professional; maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards;anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individualswith disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speakwith others using clear and professional language; answertelephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others. Comply with qualityassurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for anextended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds withoutassistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.
