Concierge, Skilled Nursing Facility FLSA Classification:
Non-Exempt (Hourly) Reports to: Market Liaison
OVERVIEW
The Concierge is to assist in census development and support the organizations admission process. The Concierge reports to and works in concert with the Market Liaison. The Concierge will ensure that regulatory compliance is met by ensuring that activities and paperwork are completed in accordance with the standard operating procedures as outlined by the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain electronic bed board/room assignments and collaborate daily with Environmental team to ensure patient room readiness (acute DCs, bedholds, planned DCs, room moves, etc.) Maintain and manage all department data logs and reports- tours, referrals, trend reports. Complete all new admission/re-admission paperwork according to guidelines. Ensure patient rooms are churned and prepared for all new admissions. Assist with Input on patient referral information into the necessary systems. Be a contact for families as they welcome their loved one to the center Follow up daily with Business Development teams on the status of new and existing referrals to coordinate Center admissions Assist Director of Admissions and Marketing with facility event planning. Coordinate patient clinical needs on anticipated admission date from the hospital (special beds or equipment, medications, isolation, etc.) Complete the required admissions and billing tasks for each patient admission Ensure that patient and family are appropriately welcomed and oriented to the Center on admission day Complete admissions agreements for new/readmit patients within 24 hours of admission following Admission SOP Collect appropriate insurance cards Conduct tours for prospective patients, families or business affiliates and complete the necessary follow up Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION /
EXPERIENCE:
1 years of experience in an Admissions/Marketing position in healthcare environment preferred Long term care experience required Knowledge of medical terminology

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a health care setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the care center. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease and infection from patients and specimens in working environment. Incumbent may be required to work extended periods of time at a video display terminal. Incumbent may experience traumatic situations, including psychiatric, and deceased patients. Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
