Job Description
Vacation Rental Specialist 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 5020 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, FL 34103 Representative of the extraordinary client services Premier Sotheby’s provides, this full-time position is responsible for guest services including assisting in finding the perfect short-term/vacation rental, ensuring guest needs and wants are met, and protecting the integrity of owner’s assets as part of a full-cycle vacation rental management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in any administrative functions as part of the full-cycle vacation management process, including but not limited to; contracts or other paperwork, customer requests, and move-out support and inspections. Maintain integrity of Company and confidentiality of information. Coordinate communications in-person and electronically; including answering multi-line phones, responding to emails and interfacing with customers. Promptly respond to questions and concerns in a courteous manner. Identify guest requests and preferences in order to successfully complete vacation rental reservations. Assist with day to day operations and work with teammates to ensure highest level of customer service. Assist with guest move-ins and troubleshooting with guests to resolve concerns. Inspect properties prior to guest move-in to ensure cleaning and maintenance items are addressed. Receive and document any guest or owner repair or maintenance requests. Coordinate with guests, owners and third-party vendors to schedule and ensure any repairs or maintenance requests are completed by appropriately licensed individuals, as needed. Special projects as assigned, Reports to the office manager.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working at a hotel or short-term/vacation rental or leasing company required Thoroughness with prioritization of open tasks/projects. Technical capacity with hardware (laptop, printers/copies, docking stations, monitors) and software (Microsoft Suite and other web-based programs). Strong typing skills. High attention to detail. Problem-solution focused. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels. Timely, dependable, and reliable. Personal effectiveness and credibility. Works well as a team member. Access to a vehicle for travel and valid driver’s license.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent One or more years’ experience in a hospitality environment (preferred) Vacation Rental experience (strongly preferred) One or more years’ sales experience (preferred) Strong professional communication and customer service skills (written and verbal) Must be able to lift 20lbs Be able to stand on a small step-ladder Have a valid driver’s license for travel locally in the Naples area
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This job operates in a professional office environment. This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during off-season. On call after hours for emergencies. During season Saturdays or overtime may be required.
