Medical Office Concierge The Woodlands Medical Specialists in Pensacola is looking for a full-time medical office concierge for the Primary Care division to provide excellent care to patients visiting this growing practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and assist with information and directions to the proper department.
- Provide the utmost care and compassion to everyone who walks through the doors.
- Establishes and maintains communication with patients and coworkers to improve the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
- Transports patients to their scheduled appointments promptly and assists them with checking in (Paperwork by guidelines)
- Lifting patients in and out of vehicles, wheelchairs, and exam tables. Operate lifting equipment for immobile patients. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Provide companionship, assistance, comfort, and support to patients and their family members.
- Transport any medical equipment, supplies, or deliveries to the designated locations.
- Respond promptly to security situations and handle crises and emergencies on site.
- Protect the facility, patients, and employee property from theft or damage.
- Provide security escorting patients and employees to and from the parking lot before and after regular business hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of the lounge area and lobby. Keep complimentary coffee and condiments stocked throughout the day.
- Open and unlock the facility each morning.
Locking and securing the facility after all patients and employees are gone.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED (required)
- Previous experience in a medical office
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Works efficiently with a desire to produce quality results
Compensation and Benefits:
- For this position starting pay is $17/hour, depending on your experience.
- A schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Potential to showcase what you can do and possibly earn a position within the company after working 600 hours with Landrum
