Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries.
- Receive, screen, route and/or respond to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns.
- Receive guest suggestions and complaints and escalate through proper channels.
- Provide patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies.
- Identify and report issues of safety and maintenance.
- Assist in improving patient satisfaction while keeping volunteer office management informed of potential problems.
Anticipate family’s needs and resolve issues before they become major source of concern.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
