The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Aquatic Relations and Operations Associate to join our growing team in a part-time position. This customer-facing role is essential to our daily operations, supporting both administrative functions, customer engagement and finding community marketing opportunities. While this position does not require teaching swim lessons, we are looking for applicants with relevant aquatic experience. This position may have the opportunity to occasionally assist in the water for swim lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Be on-site throughout a week / month at each of 3 indoor locations in Lutz, Dunedin and Brandon during lesson hours to assist customers, identify new student opportunities and oversee swim program operations. Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to assist current and prospective clients. Identify and drive program growth through community marketing efforts, including attending marketing events and visiting local businesses. Scheduling, visiting and handling safety day presentations at daycares and pre-schools. Use our registration software to enroll students, manage schedules, and update customer accounts. Educate families about our swim programs, highlighting features and benefits to help them make informed choices. Monitor activity on the pool deck to help maintain an organized and welcoming environment during busy times. Collaborate with owners and swim instructors to ensure smooth operations and support daily needs.

Requirements:

Must have a reliable vehicle to be able to drive to the Lutz, Dunedin and Brandon markets within Tampa area. Must have a personal laptop to complete administrative tasks. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and friendly demeanor. Ability to present to groups of children. Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and show up reliably for assigned shifts at each of our 3 indoor pool locations. Proficiency in English; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required. Prior experience in customer service, sales and administrative roles is preferred. Background check required for this position.

Work Schedule:

Swim classes run Monday-Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Weekends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM . Candidate must commit to at least 3 weekday shifts and 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) to work at indoor pool locations and/or outside marketing opportunities. Additional weekday shifts during 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM timeframe to present at safety days at schools.
