$19.00 per hour Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of others? Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a warm, attentive, and detail-oriented Concierge to join our team! As the first and lasting impression for many of our Residents and their families, your role is essential in ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and supportive experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Admissions Department to coordinate new Resident arrivals and ensure all necessary equipment and accommodations are in place.
Prepare Resident rooms before move-in:
confirm previous belongings are cleared, the room is cleaned, and all amenities (bed, call bell, lights, TV, etc.) are functional. Assemble and deliver welcome baskets for new Residents (when applicable). Personally greet and escort Residents to their rooms upon arrival. Provide emotional support and assistance to Residents and families. Respond to call bells and either assist directly or coordinate timely staff responses. Document and refer Resident concerns or grievances to the appropriate channels. Build strong relationships with Residents, families, and staff to promote a positive facility environment. Conduct tours for prospective Residents when Admissions staff is unavailable. Help coordinate room transitions (e.g., short-term rehab to long-term care). Complete follow-up forms within 48 business hours of admission and prior to planned discharge. Send daily progress updates to administrative staff. Coordinate with laundry services for readmitted Residents. Distribute discharge gift bags and manage inventory. Monitor and manage scheduled Resident smoking sessions. Attend in-service training, Resident Council meetings, and team meetings. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Administrator.
Requirements:
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written). Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when needed. Willingness to adapt and adopt new procedures. Basic proficiency in computer systems and office equipment. Ability to read and understand reports and documentation.
