The Vacation Specialist helps create unforgettable memories for guests at one of our luxury branded resorts by Rentyl Resorts, part of NDM Hospitality. This position works in a call center environment with inbound calls from guests looking to book reservations. The primary function is inbound sales with outbound upsells prior to guest arrival.

Position Summary :
Part – Time Position The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 6 months of similar experience
Schedule:
Night & Weekend availability Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use effective sales techniques to convert reservations Assist Guests with planning unforgettable luxury vacations Perform administrative tasks to ensure reservation accuracy to include collecting guest information, payments, and booking dates Effectively work with email, online chat services, and online travel agents to assist guests with reservation needs General Requirements Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and Guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying requests by Guests Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to satisfy Guest needs efficiently Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the company Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming Must be able to understand and apply complex information from various sources to meet appropriate objectives Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating Guest or operational needs, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel, property management, or customer service based profession preferred Excellent customer service and/or sales skills on the phone is required Experience in a call center environment or reservations department is preferred Ability to be a self-starter and innovate new processes is essential Having a sales-oriented background is a plus Experienced with Microsoft Office Software is a plus Knowledge of property management systems is a plus Great Perks and Benefits – Work with a “Win from within company” NDM Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
