$15 – $20 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview:

Beach Breeze Rehab and Care is seeking a dedicated Concierge to enhance the experience of our Residents by providing exceptional customer service , coordination , and communication . The ideal candidate will have a warm, compassionate demeanor and be skilled in building strong relationships with Residents, families, and staff .

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Admissions Department to prepare rooms for new admissions , ensuring all necessary equipment (beds, oxygen, etc.) is available. Ensure rooms are clean and ready for new Residents , including verifying previous belongings are removed, and ensuring lights, call bells , and TVs are functioning. Assemble welcome baskets and greet new Residents to make them feel comfortable. Provide support to Residents and families , addressing complaints/concerns through the Grievance Process . Answer call bells and assist Residents or notify staff as needed. Attend in-service training, Resident Council meetings, and supervisory meetings . Assist with tours and room changes as needed. Complete Concierge follow-up forms within 48 hours of admission and prior to discharge . Coordinate with laundry to retrieve belongings for readmitted Residents . Distribute gift bags for discharged Residents and monitor scheduled smoking sessions . Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator .

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or long-term care setting . Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills. Compassionate and proactive approach to Resident care . Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
