We’re currently seeking a warm, professional, and experienced Resident Relations Specialist with a background in Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) and a passion for enhancing both resident experience and internal team operations.
Position Overview:
The Resident Relations Specialist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. This hybrid position blends hospitality with administrative and HR support duties. You’ll be the go-to liaison for resident engagement, move- ins, family communication, and internal staff coordination—all while helping maintain regulatory standards and supporting a high-quality living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee smooth onboarding for new residents, including coordinating with nursing, dining, and maintenance teams Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns and facilitating meaningful communication Documentation, and employee relations support under direction of HR leadership Help maintain ALF regulatory documentation and compliance readiness Plan or support resident engagement events and community activities Foster a warm, welcoming, and professional environment in all interactions Support leadership in promoting team morale, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence
Qualifications:
Knowledge of ALF standards, resident rights, and regulatory compliance 2+ years of experience in an Assisted Living Facility (required) Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset Basic HR functions such as employee files, training, and onboarding is preferred Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare or like preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic administrative systems
